Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and JNR Pomme LLC(“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of the Unveiled Weight Loss app and related services (the “Service”).

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

3. The service

Unveiled is a chat-first weight tracking app that uses AI to log meals, estimate calories, and provide general wellness coaching. It's a wellness product, not a medical device or medical service. See our Medical Disclaimer.

4. Account

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account.
  • You're responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials.
  • One person per account. Family plans let you add additional family members — each gets their own account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • Free tier is free. Paid tiers bill monthly or annually based on what you chose at checkout.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings.
  • Refunds aren't issued for partial periods, but you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you don't accept the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, harm, or impersonate anyone.
  • Attempt to extract our AI model, training data, or proprietary prompts.
  • Use the service in any way that could be construed as practicing medicine, dietetics, nutrition counseling, or psychotherapy professionally.
  • Scrape, automate, or otherwise burden our infrastructure beyond normal personal use.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the service or its outputs.

7. Your content

You own your data — meals logged, weights, conversations, photos. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data only to provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership of any of it. See our Privacy Policy.

8. AI outputs

The coach's responses, calorie estimates, and recommendations are generated by AI. They may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. Treat them as a starting point, not a final answer. You're responsible for verifying anything important.

9. Termination

  • You can terminate at any time by deleting your account from Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk to other users.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY HEALTH OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USING IT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JNR Pomme LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in those courts.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app and by email before they take effect.
